Blog post #45 - sound

 ambient sound is referred to as background sound. This is used in my film in the sink scene and the car scene. The sound gives a feeling of where the location is.

Dialouge was used in my film to show the reactions and purpose of the characters actions. for example, when Noah arrived at his friends house he asked them "what happened? are you guys okay?" which showed the reason to what really happened.

Sound effects were used when there was distant chatter in the scene that Noah was running to go help his friends. The very subtle and distant chatter tells the audience that his friends are near by.

I decided to remove the main score in my film. I changed the music to a spooky and more eerie sound because the song by Brent Faiyez was too upbeat and happy. I also changed the happy song to 9-5 by Dolly Parton because it went better with my film.
