Blog post #8 - music in comedies

In comedy movies the music used is usually used to set a happy mood in the movie, making the audience happy and want to laugh while watching. 

In the movie Family Switch (2023), the opening scene shows how there is an immediate use of music to set the happy mood by using a happy Christmas song

Another example of music being used to create happiness is in the school scene that shows the lives of the kids. by using an upbeat song, it shows that the girl is living a happy and relatively popular life in the school
