Blog post #14 - Noah's costuming - shoes

 Noah will have more comfortable shoes to start out. As the scene starts, the shoes will indicate how Noah is in a more comfortable and relaxed state. He will be wearing slippers to show that he had no intention of doing anything that made him go outside.

As the scene goes on, Noah will then switch into sneakers. He does this switch to show that he is getting ready to go help Matthew who is in trouble. The shoes symbolize Noah being out of his relaxed state and now is in a more serious and panicked state.

The shoes used in the opening scene is important because it symbolizes what the character's motives are. If a character were to be wearing more athletic shoes, they would be doing something athletic. If the character were to be wearing something like boots or dress shoes, they would be ready for a more specific occasion.
