In  comedy movies, there are usually relatable and more laid back locations used to create a sense of realism.

In the movie Old Dads(2023), the scene shown above shows the two friends having a good time and hanging out. It releases any tension so that the audience can have a chill and fun time that makes them want to laugh. The scene also gives off a sense of realism because it may make the watcher feel as if they relate to the scene as if they were having fun and riding scooters also.

The scene shown above also from the movie Old Dads(2023),  also shows how comedy movies create a sense of realism. For example, the scene shows how a father an a son can have a good time together. This makes the audience relate to having fun with kids in the yard and shows how good of a time they are having.
